A fascinating cave nestled into the wild Adriatic coast, accesible from both land and sea.

Don’t miss: a guided tour to learn more about the limestone conformations and the history of the cave.

The Zinzulusa is a natural cave situated on the Adriatic coast between castro and Santa Cesarea Terme. The name comes from the dialectal word “zinzuli”, meaning rags, due to the similarity of the conformations hanging from the ceiling like rags.

The cave is flooded by sea and sweet waters, crystal clear and cold. It is particularly interesting from a biological point of view due to the presence of an unusual diversity, with also endemic species of the cave.
